Diverse Opportunities at PLACES
Both part-time and full-time career opportunities may be available in the executive offices in downtown Dayton or in one or more of the three programs PLACES provides: the Residential Adult Care Facilities program, the Supportive Living Program and the Housing First Program.
Individuals are eligible to apply as substitute employees for certain positions in the Residential Adult Care Facilities program and the Housing First Program. Substitute employees are considered part-time employees and must be able to work when called upon, keep commitments to work and promptly return calls to work. Depending on their performance, substitute employees may be selected for full-time employment at PLACES as needs arise.

Who’s Eligible to Apply?
PLACES offers a full range of benefits to employees:
Applicants for all entry-level positions at PLACES will:
- Have at least a high school diploma
- Hold a valid Ohio driver’s license
- Be age 18 or older
Successful applicants who are offered an entry-level position at PLACES must:
- Be insurable under the PLACES auto insurance plan
- Pass a background check
- Have a physical exam
- Pass a drug-screening test
- Take and pass a tuberculosis test
